Tottenham Hotspur is interested in signing Manchester United’s Jesse Lingard during the summer transfer window, according to Football London.

Lingard’s representatives have already been contacted by Tottenham in regards to a free transfer for the midfielder.

Lingard’s current Man United contract is set to expire on June 30, 2022.

The 29-year-old has been linked with a move to West Ham United, where he had a successful loan spell last season, but Tottenham are hoping to beat them to it.

Meanwhile, Arsenal has announced that midfielder Halle Houssein will join West Ham United Women on loan for the remainder of the season.

On Tuesday, Arsenal released a statement on their website announcing the news.

“Halle will play for West Ham until the end of the 2021/22 season, as part of a dual registration agreement between the two clubs,” the statement said.

“Everyone at West Ham wishes her the best during her time with the club.”

Halle debuted for Arsenal in a competitive match earlier this season.

In the Barclays FA Women’s Super League, she came off the bench in a 4-0 win at Reading.
