The ruling All Progressives Congress, according to the Peoples Democratic Party, has grown numb to the violence and bloodshed that has become commonplace in Nigeria.
It also stated that the APC has demonstrated that it is not a political party but rather a collection of odd bedfellows.

Debo Ologun-Agba, the PDP’s new National Publicity Secretary, stated this in an interview with journalists in Abuja.
“…about numbness to violence, numbness to bloodshed,” he said. True leadership will not take a vacation during a crisis, no matter where it is found in the world.
“When a country is destroyed, the president of that country is expected to act as a consoler-in-chief. However, there is a complete lack of leadership in Nigeria. That is why 40,50 people die every day and it appears to be a normal occurrence. What an irony: we have a leadership that has gone on vacation, and Nigeria is disintegrating under the leadership of a retired general.
“A president who is unconcerned,” he continued. When people are killed, instead of sympathizing with them, they blame them. You may recall farmers who were murdered on their farms some time ago; it was claimed that they were denied permission to visit their farms. What kind of inhumane people do we have in positions of power?

“That’s why you notice that everything they do is in line with their perplexity.” Because they are odd bedfellows, lacking in consensus, ideology, common purpose, and mission. As a result, bringing them together is extremely difficult. There is an unbridgeable chasm between them.”
On the other hand, according to Ologun-Agba, the PDP has shown that it has what it takes to get Nigeria back on track.
