The 60th ordinary session of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Authority of Heads of State and Government, which will take place in Abuja on Sunday, December 12th, is all set.

The State House Conference Center in Abuja, which will host the event, has already been given a makeover in preparation for the summit, which will begin at 10:00 GMT.

Presidents of ECOWAS’s 15 other member states are anticipated to participate, with Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari hosting the event.

The gathering is scheduled to discuss and make significant decisions regarding West Africa’s security and development.

The heads of state and government will also discuss the political situations in Mali and Guinea.
