Hours after he was captured along the Mararraba axis while escaping his town after a fatal Nigerian Air Force (NAF) bombardment, he was freed late Tuesday night by the gang of famed bandits’ kingpin, Ado Allero.
On Thursday, the king and his family were reunited at his palace in Yankuzo.
The bandits, according to sources, claimed that the monarch had given the military intelligence that resulted in the precision strike that killed numerous terrorists at a forest enclave between Yankuzo and Munhaye earlier that day. Over 30 people were officially declared deceased, while numerous others were hurt.
After a few hours in captivity, he was reportedly released when Ado Allero and his warriors determined he was not involved in the military action.
“The ransom was not paid. After questioning him, they discovered that he had no involvement in the assault, according to a security source.
