WIKE’S VITUPERATION: A TOTAL DISPLAY OF ENVY, EXECUTIVE RASCALITY-Dr. Ogwemho James, PDP Patriot, Edo State.

He said “Our attention has been drawn to a malicious, naive, petulant and very laughable video clip, credited to Nyesome Wike of Rivers State on the 12th March, 2022 wherein he threw tantrums and other unprintable words at the digital and ever loyal Deputy Governor of Edo State, Rt. Hon. Comrade Philip Shaibu”.
Wike is belly aching over the Deputy Governor’s call on the National Chairman of the Democratic Party( PDP), Sen. ( Dr.) Iyorcha Ayu, to nip in the bud the internal crisis rocking the Edo State Chapter of the party.
We have to put the records strait for posterity, other wise, we would not have followed the pig into the mud.
In his limited sense, Wike thought Shaibu was speaking for himself. Far from it. Rather, he was speaking for the over 500,000 registered members of the PDP in Edo State who are on the verge of being pushed out of the party by a less than one thousand executive of the party. That was where Wike missed it all.
Wike desended so low to the extent that he started asking who the father of the Deputy Governor was. He went further to denigrate his kaki out fit. In case Wike cares to know, the khaki is the trade mark of Rt Hon Comrade Philip Shaibu. Aside this, Shaibu is well know for his activism as an authentic comrade who rose through the ranks to lead the Nigerian Student body as President of NANS. He was among those in the forefront during the dark days of the military era, especially during the battle of “Abacha Must Go” He has a rich political pedigree. A three term member of Edo State House of Assembly, A Majority Leader of the House, a former member of the House of Representstives and now Deputy Governor of our dear Edo State.
His late father who was Pastor of Glory of God Ministry, Kaduna inculcated good family values, discipline and morals in him. So, where is Yansh Wike coming from. He should boldly tell us who is father was (is). A man who is well groomed with good family background will definitely bridle his thong and know what, where and how to talk, especially in the public.
To say the least, Wike is lousy, reckless and a rascal who is not fit to lead responsile people like Rivers.
It is indeed laughable and absolutely disappointing to note that this is the same Yansh Wike who in 2020, described some cash and carry politicians in Edo State as “mercenary and tax collectors” for trading the party’s gubernatorial ticket. Some of these tax collectors never believed that Governor Obaseki and his Deputy, Rt. Hon. Philip Shaibu were going to come out victorious in that election.
They merely joined the campaign train but they never believed in the course. Because of this disappointment, they are now crying wolves over a supposed party ‘ harmonization’ as against ‘ integration’
One would have expected a man of Wike’s standing to applaud the Deputy Governor of Edo State for speaking truth to power over the political shenanigans and other subterfuges which has bedevilled the party in the state. So, Wike can be said to be blowing hot and cold.Or do we take it that the lousy Yansh Wike has joined forces with those he castigated as ” tax collectors” with the aim of destabilising Edo State? Perhaps, Wike is vomiting all these nonsense to safe guard his delegates in Edo State towards the actualization of his presidential ambition.
He should know that only God gives power. Because of his desperation for power, he has suddenly taken over the role of the party’s National Chairman and indeed, that of the NWC, poke nosing on every matter. I must say that he will crash like a pack of cards at the end of the day.
To put the records very straight in the interest of the reading public and other political observers across party lines, it becomes very expedient to state as follows in an unequivocal manner.
(.1) That someone’s psychological or emotional age is often evident in emotional reactions and habits, and signs of emotional childishness include emotional escalations, blaming, lies, and name-calling. Someone who is emotionally childish may also have poor impulse control, need to be the center of attention, or engage in bullying, and that is exactly what Wike has just displayed in his unnecessary vituperations and it goes to show the total disregard he has for his Deputy Governor.
(.2) That Wike as a lawyer, should be made to understand the glaring fact that, If a person or institution is accused of applying double standards in their treatment of different groups of people, it means that they unfairly allow more freedom of behavior to one group than to another, and it keeps beating our imaginations to have seen Wike displaying a total show of shame, knowing fully well that he was offending his conscience.
(.3) That Wike who ought to have understood the difference between political harmonization and integration, and apply each as and when due, is now displaying naivety and diarrhoea of the mouth, by using vituperative utterances against the digital Deputy Governor of Edo state, for standing for the truth.
(.4) That Rt. Hon. Comrade Philip Shaibu remains the most loyal, dutiful, honest, and highly dependable Deputy Governor in Nigeria and beyond, whose steadfastness, tenacity, patience and political experience remain unbeatable, as he has never betrayed any of his masters and or lieutenants, under any guise, like we have seen Wike did in his open betrayal of the former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP), Chief Uche Secondus, and the former Governor of Rivers state, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi. Wike is one man picked from the drainage and cleaned-up. He betrayed his kinsman, Secondus for his selfish end. And that end shall never materialise. It will ever remain mere ambition.
(.5) That Rt. Hon. Comrade Philip who has sued for peace in the party is indeed a man of peace, who is displaying good leadership traits, as he never hinged his stand on any parochial ground, but firmly on the interest of his followers, who thronged out massively to reelected them in 2020, when everybody thought it was not going to be success.
To this end, we hereby urge the good people of Edo state, and members of the great Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), to disregard Wike’s rantings and display of show of shame, as his words remain waters off the duck’s back, and as worthless as a used sanitary pad, he noted.
