Eloy Ejimakor, the attorney representing Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has demanded that the Nigerian government answer for the state’s approach to security matters.
Ejimakor, speaking through his 𝕏 account, questioned why Kanu continued to be detained while Fulani terrorists were granted carte blanche.
He demanded that the people who have controlled the nation since 2015 explain why suspected Fulani terrorists are given preferential treatment while IPOB and its leader, Kanu, are taken more seriously.
Ejimakor claimed that the United States has recently addressed issues that, in his opinion, ought to have been resolved a long time ago.
Ejimakor also expressed worries about what he called unfair treatment, raising doubts about whether the government’s actions were influenced by ethnic factors.
There are a lot of questions that remain, he remarked.
“Now that America has taken action that was necessary many years ago, people in power in Nigeria from 2015 to the present have to explain why they lavished lavishes on Fulani terrorists while targeting IPOB and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who were not even eligible.
Is their Igbo heritage the reason? Very many inquiries,” Ejimakor wrote.
