Two Nigerians including an undergraduate student, one other, jailed for murder of a man over wristwatches in the UK

Two Nigerians, Temidayo Awe and Ikem Affia, are among four persons arrested for killing a man, Saul Murray, in the United Kingdom.

According to reports, the 33-year-old man was killed by the gang in order to have access to his Rolex wristwatches. Murray was said to have flaunted his wristwatches on the social media, a move that attracted the gang to him.

It is reported that he was found dead with stab wounds at his flat in Lutron on February 27, 2022. Detectives identified Affia, 31, as the main suspect responsible for Murray’s d£ath after looking at hours of CCTV footage.

Apart from Affia and Awe, a 21-year-old student of Coventry University, others arrested and sentenced after trial were Surpreet Dhillion, 35, and Cleon Brown, 29.
