Afrobeats artist Tiwa Savage has stressed that her coworkers are merely representatives of the cause and has advised them to maintain their composure.
Afrobeats musicians should not allow fame and wealth to consume them, the “Malo” hitmaker advised, adding that God can take their place.
She cautioned that becoming an underground artist is not as dangerous as falling from grace.
Savage recently stated, “We are just ambassadors, we are just like the faces of Afrobeats,” in an interview with Hot 97 FM New York. We must not allow it to consume us because we are merely vessels and someone else may be present.
It can be taken away in that way by God. Therefore, you must be grounded. You must exercise humility. Imagine reaching this point and then tumbling. Not experiencing the taste of fame is worse than that. I would rather never have seen than to have seen and become blind. To me, that is worse.

The singer also said she thought some of her coworkers were amazing.
“I have a near-obsession with Ayra Starr.
