Speaking at the inaugural joint meeting between the LGA Excos and Wàrd Excos the Deputy Chairman of the Apex Leaders in Amuwo Odofin LGA Prince Rasheed Adesina Otolorin,former Chairman of Amuwo Odofin LGA vowed that they are going to resist any act of impunity to impose someone who never bought form nor contested for the APC Party Chairman of the LGA.
He insisted that the State Party Chairman should provide leadership by doing the wishes of the good people of Amuwo Odofin LGA.
Alhaji Nurudeen A . Eyinfunjowo Octogenarian noted that at 84 he has nothing to lose by saying the truth ,he called on Lagos APC State Party Chairman Apostle Corlenous Ojelabi to listen to the voice of wisdom from the Apex Leaders. Alhaji Dotun Adegbola emphasized that the Leaders will not accept the imposition of Ayodele Ogungbiye against the wishes of the people which was demonstrated at the September 4 2021 Local Government APC Party Congress. He also reaffirmed that Amuwo Odofin LGA is Tinubu’s Country and they shall do everything possible to see that Asiwaju Dr Bola Ahmed Tinubu emerges the next President.
In a swift move by the Leader of the Council , Honorable Kikiwhenu Emmanuel, Councillor representing Ward J ,who requested that a motion be moved by the Deputy Leader Mrs Feyisope Idowu to support the Adm Fadairo Olawunmi Jamiu (MCIA) led Excos and Every democratic action taken by the Apex Leaders of Amuwo Odofin LGA to actualise the people’s Mandate.

The Motion was seconded by Honorable Micheal Ojomo representing the good people of Ward A1 ,this motion got the support of all other Councillors.
Adm Fadairo Olawunmi Jamiu ( MCIA), the APC Party Chairman Amuwo Odofin LGA in his reaction said he has an Herculean task to deliver all the Elections, particularly the Presidential and Governorship Elections,he emphasized that He is pretty sure His Excellency Babajide Sanwoolu will emerge at the Governorship Primaries just as it is now and Asiwaju Dr Bola Ahmed Tinubu will also emerge as the presidential flagbearer of APC come 2023.
