PDP’s Dauda Lawal unseats Gov. Matawalle of Zamfara after polling 377,726 votes.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate, Dauda Lawal, as the winner of the governorship election in Zamfara State.

The returning officer for the election, Professor Kasimu Shehu, said Dare scored 377,726 votes to defeat governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle who polled 311, 976 votes.

The announcement was made on Tuesday morning, March 21, in Gusau, the state capital.
