Mercy and Truth Ministries Celebrates One Year Anniversary At The Church Auditorium In Ajah Lagos.

The anniversary took place on the 30th May 2022, at the church auditorium in Ajah Lagos. The event was put together to celebrate one year of God’s Grace on the rapid growth and development achieved in the ministry so far. Members as well as invited guest graced the occasion grandly. There were also guest ministers in attendance as well as lined up programme, drama display, powerful testimonies of God’s goodness and choir ministrations to commemorate the august gathering.
Giving a briefing on how the church was found, The founder of the ministry, Pastor Ifeanyi Ambrose told Naomisophyblog that he has been doing the work of God for many years before he was called by God, this calling led him to put up a ministry that he has thrived to make succeed. Despite the hurdles and impossible situations, the church had been able to surpass challenges brewed overtime and had taken hold to stay strong and achieve success in all it is set to do.
Speaking with Mrs Ambrose, the wife of the founder, she talked about how the ministry had started from grass to grace. In her words she emphasised the fact that God has somehow in some ways always provided the needs of the ministry without having to put its members into forceful and unintended funding. It’s been grace all the way. She further mentioned that as a pillar to her husband, she has thus encouraged him through her total support to make things work as she advised every woman out there to always be a pillar of support to their husbands, and to the youths, she advised that all should embrace Christ the true way to leading a Godly life.
Pastor Ifeanyi Ambrose the founder of the ministry further told the press present that the sole aim of the church is to draw people to christ away from ways that do not please God and as such, he had dissociated self from anything that wouldn’t please God. He categorically mentioned that all who sees visions, dream dreams should seek God for through prayers for clarification or aversion of odd occurrences not by doing sacrifices but by means of prayer alone as this is what God recognises.
During the sermon taken by Pastor Elijah George… , he emphasied the need to receive Grace from the lord not from man, he mentioned that you cannot partake in God’s Grace without being saved. He impacted knowledge of the word into many that attended the program as well as made an altar call to salvation for those who are willing and ready to be saved.
The holy communion was also observed as well as the cutting of the anniversary cake with the founder and his wife, visiting pastors, guest, members and all whom attended the anniversary.
The guest minister also told the press about the founder whom he had known for his uprightness and resilience to do the work of God and is telling all to embrace Christ as the true way and source of Progress. He expressed how impressed he is for the success achieved within the one year of the church’s existence and how far the ministry had grown even in midst of hurdles . He also appreciated the good work God had started in the ministry, emphasising the need for all to embrace christ especially the youth, as many that had gone astray and need to realise the errors of their ways and turn to christ.
Omotayo Afolabi a minister in Mercy and Truth Ministries stated that the ministry believes in speaking the truth, emphasizes more on integrity as the name of the ministry implies.The man of God does not compromise in his teachings he said.
Speaking about the 1year anniversary, Omotayo noted that the ministry has achieved a lot, amidst hurdles and impossible situations due to the environment in which the church stands yet there has been breakthrough and success in achieving results. We have developed our selves spiritually and physically from the preaching of the founder while advising that the youth should not believe in get rich quick syndrome but draw themselves unto salvation. With salvation, all other things in life is given, this includes wealth, health and happiness he said.
Thanking God for how far the ministry has gone, Pastor Chukwudi Nathaniel Ekeh , Assistant Pastor/Church Administrator stated that so far so good, God has been faithful. In midst of hurdles and difficulties, especially when the church was about to be established, God showed mercy as the name of the church implies. The church was not habitable but by his Mercy Funds were raised and the church was built in the one year of its existence, compared to churches around it is glaring that Mercy and Truth has achieved a lot, he noted.
Pastor Chukwudi mentioned that the ministry operates on four core values which are: love, character , integrity and anointing.Mercy and Truth ministry operates with integrity as its watchword, the ministry stands for the truth at all times and as such attained mercy in the site of God. This is a place of holiness, truth, deliverance to set his people free, he quipped.
Lastly, Pastor Chukwudi gave an advise to those God has called to yield completely to his will in obedience,total surrender. Also when a person makes up his/her mind to work for God, worldly entanglement should cease.
The choir’s powerful ministration was very inspiring and overwhelming as it orchestrated massive response from all that was present with the air filled with the presence of the holy spirit to acknowledge that the presence of God was with them.
All rejoiced joyfully in thanksgiving to God for the successful completion of the one year anniversary celebration.
