Under the banner of the Kwankwasiyya Movement, supporters of former Kano State Governor Rabi’u Kwankwaso claim that the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) zoned the presidency to Southern Nigeria due to the conviction in a single Nigeria.

Habeeb Saleh, the Movement’s National Coordinator, made this statement on Monday during an interview with Arise Television.

He asserts that Nigerians must have faith in the party and all of its political candidates to consistently prioritize the interests of the nation.

“Believing in a single Nigeria is the result of zoning the NDC presidency to the South. However, the fact that decisions are being made will inevitably stabilize all Nigerians.

“That choice must be such that it will foster mutual understanding and trust between us.

According to the NDC, all Nigerians must be on the same page in order for this presidency to truly be zoned to the South. Additionally, they must have faith that the party and all of its members are acting in Nigeria’s best interests,” he stated.
