According to Professor Jerry Gana, the former Minister of Information and Orientation, former President Goodluck Jonathan would run for office again in 2027.
In an interview with reporters in Minna, the capital of Niger State, Gana said as much.
He claims that Jonathan will run for president in the upcoming election as the People’s Democratic Party’s (PDP) flagbearer.
Nigerians, he said, had lived under two presidents following Jonathan and were now aching for his return.
According to Gana, former President Goodluck Jonathan stated in 2015 that his goals were not worth the lives of Nigerians.
Another president reigned for eight years after him, and now another has done so for two years.
Nigerians have witnessed the difference, and it is evident. The people of Nigeria are now requesting that we reinstate our friend, former President Goodluck Jonathan.
We should be ready to vote for Goodluck Ebele Jonathan to win the presidency again, he continued. “I can confirm that he will run for president in 2027 as a PDP candidate.”
