The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has expressed concern about reported Igbo youth killings in Imo State.
It called on elders, religious and traditional leadership in the region to intercede in a statement issued by its Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful.
IPOB, on the other hand, did not reveal the names of the kids killed, when they were killed, when and where they were killed, or who was accountable for the deaths.
“We’re raising alarm over the incessant killing of Biafran youngsters in Imo State,” the message reads in part.
It went on to say that some of the victims “did not commit any known crime other than driving expensive cars…
“We condemn the countless deaths that are occurring, particularly during this festive season in Imo State.
