Nollywood actress-turned-film producer Toyin Abraham has promised to stand up for her coworker Iyabo Ojo in the face of persistent cyberbullying and harassment.
In a Monday Instagram post, Toyin reportedly stated that she has been praying for Iyabo Ojo and wishing for an end to the attacks.
“I hope the world won’t blame me for overreacting to the issue,” the actress said, adding that she is willing to fight for her colleague.
Her writing said, “Aunty mi, Aunty Iyabo. I’ve spent months seeing your bullying. I remained mute, hoping they would stop, and battling with you in spirit.
However, they did not. I’m about to respond, and I hope that people won’t think I’m overreacting. For this time, I’m going to go overboard. In addition to being a mother, I am also an Oversabi. Let’s head out.
Despite the constant taunts, death threats, and curses aimed at her family and grandson, Iyabo Ojo has revealed that she purposefully chose to ignore Lizzy Anjorin.
Iyabo Ojo and her family, including her grandson Rakeem Mkambala, had been the target of Lizzy’s constant obscenities and taunts.
The actress said that she has frequently found it difficult to maintain her composure and disregard the distraction due to God in an Instagram post on Sunday.
Iyabo highlighted that she needs to give her full attention to helping her daughter, Priscillia, navigate parenthood and filling the void, saying that her legal team is taking care of the matter and getting her ready for the fight.
According to the movie star, Lizzy’s problem will be resolved as soon as she gets back to Lagos.
