Arsenal have confirmed the signing of Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace in a deal worth £67.5 million.

The forward, who appeared to be nearing a move to Arsenal’s north London rivals Tottenham earlier this week, has signed a four-year contract at the Emirates Stadium with an option for a further year.

Eze, who will wear the No 10 shirt, becomes Arsenal’s seventh signing of the summer after Martin Zubimendi, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Christian Norgaard, Viktor Gyokeres, Noni Madueke and Cristhian Mosquera.
The deal takes Arsenal’s transfer spending to £267 million this summer.
