This is as it accused the ADC of making ā€œopportunistic and grossly insensitiveā€ statement.

DAILY POST recalls that the ADC had on Sunday, described the spate of attacks as a sign that Nigeria’s security architecture was crumbling, accusing the APC and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, of not caring about Nigerians but politics.

Responding in a statement on Monday, the National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Felix Morka, described the incident in Katsina as a national tragedy that should not be politicised.

ā€œIt is a thing of national tragedy when lives of innocent and law-abiding citizens are cut down by forces of evil and terror.

ā€œIt is despicable and must be condemned by all Nigerians. Our thoughts and prayers remain with the families of the victims of this and other incidents,ā€ he said.
