The diplomatic crisis between Nigeria and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is worsening, with the latter refusing to allow foreign airlines to fly Nigerians to their destination (Dubai).

According to information obtained by our correspondent on Monday morning, Ethiopian Airlines, Turkish Airlines, and other international airlines flying to Dubai from their bases refused to board Nigerians bound for the UAE.
According to reports, airlines have been instructed not to transport Nigerian passport holders to Dubai.

Hundreds of passengers have already been affected by this directive, as Ethiopian Airlines recently offloaded its Nigerian passengers in Dubai.
“No entry for Nigerian passengers from any airline, according to the UAE.” Ethiopian Airlines has just completed the offloading of all passengers bound for Dubai. “We’re canceling all Dubai-bound tickets,” an Abuja Airport source told our correspondent.
