Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate for 2023, has formally joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

According to reports, Obi formally declared for the ADC on Wednesday in Enugu State together with a few other political figures from the South-East geographical zone.
The leaders provided justification for their decision, stating that it was made in order to “rescue Nigeria from the poor governance of the All Progressives Congress (APC)”.
