The fifty students who were abducted from St. Mary’s Private Catholic Primary and Secondary Schools in Papiri, Agwara LGA, have managed to free themselves from their captors, according to a statement released by the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Niger State.

Bulus Dauwa Yohanna, the Catholic Bishop of Kontagora Diocese and chairman of the Niger State CAN, stated in a statement released on Sunday that the children had “quietly reunited with their families” after regaining their freedom between Friday and Saturday.
