CRIME: Bloodbath While On Duty, Akibu Titilayo RTEAN Boss Brutalised Man On Ijebu-Ode Road.

It was a sad and brutal day for Olasunkanmi who was attacked under the Bridge at Moraika, Enginrin Road Ijebu-Ode at about 11:00am on Wednesday 23rd March 2022. Mr. Olasunkanmi Other Name Withheld was allegedly bath with his own Blood while on duty by a Road Lord simply identified to be Mr. Akisu Titilayo [a.k.a Efele ] the Ogun State Chairman, Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria employee” RTEAN, OGUN STATE CHAPTER”.
According to an eye witness who for the fear of death threat decided to be anonymous, said Mr. Olasunkanmi was attacked by the road boss who claimed to be above taking orders, after he merely demanded to know if the driven vehicle belongs to the friend of the road chief during a routine check up to know if Ogun State Chairman, Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria has obtained Ogun State Advertisement and Signage Agency permit for vehicle with branding.
The eyewitness further narrated that Mr. Olasunkanmi confirmed after a phone call that the driver of the vehicle had relationship with the dreadful road king. Upon knowing that, he quickly disembarked from the enquiry and told the driver to move on, but the driver returned back almost immediately and stoodby waiting when suddenly the chairman appeared in company of some police escort as they immediately sprang on Mr. Olasunkanmi for a good beating, inflicted him with a deep cut on his head causing him bodily harm.
He said the Chairman initially left Mr. Olasunkanmi in the pool of his blood but returned moments later to discover that he still alive, and then order his men to take him to hospital.
A hint revealed that Mr. Olasunkanmi was taking to Ore Ofe hospital for first aids and later move to undisclosed placed, it was later discovered that he is working with an Aremu Oseniyan Ventures an Approved Agent of Ogun State Advertisement and Signage Agency for the year 2022 permit
All effort to reach Mr. Olasunkanmi for comment was denied by his family for fear of the unknown. The Chairman of the Road’s phone could not be reached as all call to him was declined, while the Manager of Aremu Oseniyan Venture responded to his call, said that the management is aware of the matter and consultations are ongoing .
According to the source, the police is already aware of the case, but the source is pessimistic about the outcome of the report, in view of the road king personality and his wading power in Ogun State.
