Pastor Paul Enenche, the leader of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, has expressed concern over Nigeria’s deteriorating economic situation.
The pastor was alleged to have described the country as spiritually trapped, while individuals continue to suffer in silence.
He added that the amount of poverty and economic distress across the country has exceeded what people should tolerate as normal.

According to him, Nigeria is under a black cloud, causing citizens to tolerate severe conditions that would normally elicit public outrage.

Enenche explained that churchgoers now line up after services not for spiritual instruction or prayer, but to solicit assistance with basic needs such as rent, school fees, food, and healthcare bills.

He mentioned that pastors are becoming increasingly overburdened by the volume of these inquiries.

He chastised Nigerian officials for ignoring widespread misery and acting as if everything was normal.

He criticized their approach as reckless and divorced from the realities of ordinary Nigerians.

He remarked, “There’s a cloak of sorcery and gloom over this country; an evil spell that causes people to endure what should be an uproar.

“People are hurting. Pastors are tired. Members now line up after services not for prayer, but for assistance.

“However, the leaders act as if nothing is amiss. This isn’t normal. This is witchcraft. A period of patience in captivity. “A demonic tolerance for suffering.”
