2023: AATSG, YFBN Collaborate For Tinubu.

Post by Onome Naomi

As part of strategies to ensure victory for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2023 general election,
two political pressure groups have launched collaborative efforts.
The first two groups to do so following Tinubu’s victory at the primaries are the Youths For Better Nigeria (YFBN) and Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu Support Group (AATSG).

The synergy was sealed on Saturday 11th of June 2022 when the National Executives of the YFBN, a group with a heavy presence in the 19 Northern states of Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory were at the Abuja office of AATSG to discuss and finalize the details of the collaboration.

Present at the meeting in Abuja is the AATSG National Chairman, Otunba Abayomi Odunowo, the National Youth Leader, Hon Dayo Adeyemi and the National Deputy Woman Leader, Hajia Zara Bukar.
In his remarks, the YFBN National Chairman, Lawal Ibrahim Gurbi, said the group has watched very keenly the operations of the majority of the support groups and has realised that AATSG is one of the most focused, with specific objectives and alignment with the needs of the youths, saying that is why they have chosen to collaborate with AATSG.

He was particularly happy with the innovation of delivering the JAGABAN mobile app and said this would help the youths to harmonize better with their mobilization strategy across the country.
The chairman was accompanied by the National PRO of the group, Musa Idris, and AbdulRahman Sagir, the National media and publicity leader.

He thanked the National Team of the AATSG for giving them the opportunity to work with a purposeful team and promised they would deliver twice as many voters as they delivered for PMB.

Receiving the group, the AATSG national chairman, Otunba Odunowo, expressed delight at the collaboration, saying it would provide a very strong mobilization team in all parts of Nigeria for the ultimate victory of Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu, the flag bearer of the APC.

Flanked by the National Youth Leader, Hon. Adedayo Adeyemi and the National Deputy Woman Leader Hajia Zara Bukar, Odunowo reiterated the commitment of AATSG to knock on every household door across the country to propagate the gospel of Tinubu which will ultimately ensure his election into office.

Odunowo said, “I welcome this collaboration. The goal is well cut out. We will mobilize Nigerians across the country to garner support for Asiwaju Tinubu. There will be a further collaboration with like-minded groups in our efforts to elect Tinubu to come 2023.
