The Trade Union Congress (TUC) in Ekiti State has given Governor Kayode Fayemi 21 days to pay the backlog of worker’s salary arrears, deductions and promotion or be ready for indefinite strike.

The union gave the ultimatum in a statement yesterday by the Chairman, Comrade Sola Adigun, after its State Executive Council meeting.

The workers advised Governor Fayemi to pay backlog salary arrears, promotions and deductions as promised during his electioneering campaign in 2018 before the expiration of his tenure on October 15, 2022.
