Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) Plant in Bonny was visited by Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari, Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.), on Wednesday.
In his remarks, Ojulari commended NLNG management for playing a crucial part in advancing Nigeria’s industrial development, economic stability, and energy transformation.
In addition, he emphasized NNPCL’s dedication to supporting NLNG’s long-term growth as a major stakeholder.
Nigeria’s energy sector will be positioned for a competitive, low-carbon, and net-zero future thanks to his ambitious plans to strengthen gas infrastructure and investigate new avenues for clean energy innovation.

The strategic importance of NLNG’s Train 7 project was emphasized by Ojulari, who called it a pillar for increasing Nigeria’s export potential, creating thousands of employment, and strengthening the country’s position in the international energy market.
According to projections, the project will greatly increase NLNG’s production capacity, enhancing Nigeria’s standing as a top LNG exporter.
The CEO of NNPC Ltd. also praised NLNG, describing its strong governance structure, steadfast dedication to sustainability, and excellent asset integrity as defining characteristics of operational excellence and a source of pride for the country.
Nigeria’s energy environment and economic development have benefited greatly from NLNG, according to Ojulari.
