Nollywood actress, Eyiyemi Afolayan, has disclosed her reservations on building with any man from the scratch, saying she’s afraid that men are known to change when they become financially successful.
Eyiyemi, daughter of ace filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan, has reportedly told BBC Yoruba that wealth can make men disrespectful or unfaithful in an interview.
The fast-rising actress also disclosed that she was born into a wealthy family and expects any of her prospective suitors to be financially stable.
“I can’t work with a man. Why can’t I build with a man? You know men, they are ungrateful. If I marry a man that doesn’t have money and see money, if I marry him, he will stay with me, not because he loves me but because he doesn’t have the money to be going around to be promiscuous.
I was born into money. Any man who wants to marry me has got to be working for himself. I can’t be feeding him, but I can support him.”
The Anikulapo movie star also bared her mind on the idea of polygamy as she said she would never agree to be a second or third wife.
“I can’t be a second or third wife to any man,” she said. It’s not like I’m jealous or anything. “Many troubles in a polygamous home.
