Moses Alake Adeyemo, a former deputy governor of the state, was chosen by members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) chapter in Oyo State to serve as the party’s chairman.

The announcement was delivered at the party’s state congress on Tuesday.

Obafemi Awolowo Stadium in Oke Ado, Ibadan, hosted the convention.

Representatives of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) also saw it.

According to our correspondent, Adeyemo was the deputy to the state’s most recent governor, Abiola Ajimobi, who held office from 2011 to 2019.

He is from Oyo State’s Oke Ogun geopolitical zone.

Wasiu Olawale Sadare, who was reinstated as the party’s publicity secretary, was among the others elected.
