Nyesom Wike, the minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has declared his intention to dedicate 20 days to highlighting the accomplishments of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration in the region’s educational system.
During the commissioning of the recently constructed engineering infrastructure in Wuye District, Abuja, on Thursday, Wike made this announcement.
The initiative’s goal, according to the minister, is to demonstrate to Nigerians—particularly social media critics—the extent of progress made under President Tinubu’s direction.
“We will use 20 days to demonstrate to Nigerians and social media presidents what we have accomplished in the field of education,” he stated. Therefore, we won’t hurry. What we have accomplished in the field of education will astound them.
Wike clarified that the Tinubu administration is making great strides in enhancing education in addition to concentrating on building roads and other facilities in the FCT.
“In addition to focusing on the FCT’s road and bridge infrastructure, President Tinubu’s administration is also working to improve the education sector,” he stated.
The minister added that there will be a brief respite following the 20 days of project commissioning and flagging off before the entire focus would be on education.
“We are going to stop our commissioning and flag-off, at least for the time being,” I informed the chief of staff. We will take a break and return to focus on education because twenty days is not two days,” Wike continued.
